As a side event to the Project Design Training taking place next week, PMD and SKM invite you to a learning event  on “Scaling up  from the perspective of our partners”. Representatives from India, Argentina and Sao Tome will present scaling up models that are relevant to IFAD-funded projects and programmes. The event will explore scaling up from governments, beneficiaries and private sector perspective. It will also  analyse how IFAD’s support to beneficiary institutions and organizations can enable them to reach-out and mobilize additional public and private resources. A discussion panel with speakers from Government, beneficiaries and private sector  will illustrate how going to scale has permitted to leverage additional resources for greater impact.  These examples will bring an operational dimension to a better understanding of how one can apply the principles of scaling up  in  project design.
